180 South, Conquerers Of The Useless

An amazing film inspired by the makers and movers of the the brand Patagonia. Jeff Johnson re-follows the footsteps of his hero's who traveled on an epic journey to Patagonia, Chile. This film isn't just for surfers and climbers, but it is for free spirits, independent thinkers and people who want more from life than our typical American culture. In this true story, writer Jeff Johnson leaves his "9-to-5" job to catch a ride down to Mexico by boat and make his way down to Patagonia on a once of a lifetime personal journey. I was so inspired by this film that I donated some of my hard earned funds to future National Park, Conservacion Patagonica, and signed up to volunteer with the group in Chile this winter. This is a movie worth watching, several times.

Produced by Woodshed films. Available on DVD and Netflix
